About ME

For years, I chased success by checking all the boxes (degrees, promotions, accolades) thinking fulfillment would follow. But deep down, I felt like I was living someone else’s version of a meaningful life. It wasn’t until much later in life, after navigating detours, many doubts, and a few hard resets, that I finally paused long enough to ask: What do I really want? That question changed everything. Stepping into my true purpose didn’t happen early, it happened when I finally stopped trying to fit into a life that wasn’t mine and started aligning with the one, I was meant to lead. That’s why I do this work – because it’s never too late to live with clarity, purpose, and power.

I am Dr. Bobbie Murray, an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, Chief Human Resources Officer, and founder of Meridian 360 Consulting. I hold undergraduate degrees in German literature and international business, master’s degrees in finance and organizational psychology, and a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. I am also an executive scholar in Leadership and Marketing/Sales from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

With over 30 years of experience in talent strategy, workforce transformation, leadership development, and education, I have served in executive roles across higher education, the military, and global organizations. My work bridges behavioral science and business strategy to drive individual and organizational growth in complex, mission-driven environments.

As a combat veteran and passionate advocate for human potential, I have rebuilt dysfunctional Human Resource departments into high-performing teams, guided boards of trustees through strategic workforce decisions, successfully led complex collective bargaining negotiations, and coached hundreds of individuals through pivotal life transitions, career reinventions, and leadership growth. My work is driven by a deep commitment to unlocking clarity, purpose, and performance at every level of the organization.

At my core, I believe in clarity – clarity of purpose, values, and direction. That is why I created Meridian 360 Consulting – to help people and organizations find their true north and move forward with confidence. My work blends psychology, strategy, and soul. Whether I am guiding a young student through a self-discovery journey or helping an executive team realign its culture, my goal is the same: to unlock human potential in deeply human ways.
